HISTORY

The Division "Psychoanalytic Psychology and Psychotherapy" was formed on September 24, 2020 by approving at the NPA Council the application submitted by the initiative group (Maryani Velykodnoi, Valerija -136bad5cf58d_Дорожкіна, Олександри Квітко, Віталія Луньова, Анастасії Токаревої, Галини Савченко). This division became the 9th division of the NPA. 

In the first month of its existence, it gathered more than 50 members, which highlighted the urgent demand for such a community from the psychoanalytic community. During the year, it became the most numerous division of the NPA.

In May 2021, the division approved its first logo designed by Y. Youssef.

In April 2022, the first English-language article about the Division was published in the journal "Psychodynamic Practice" (authors M. Velikodna, V. Dorozhkin, N. Nalivaiko, E. Yevlanova, V. Lunyov).
