ACTIVITIES OF THE DIVISION
In accordance with the defined mission of the "Psychoanalytic Psychology and Psychotherapy" Division of the National Academy of Ukraine, its activities are quite extensive and include practical experience, socially significant projects, research, educational campaigns and educational initiatives. CONSULTATIVE AND PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PRACTICE IN THE PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACH
Members of our Division conduct psychoanalytic and psychological consulting practice. Traditionally, counseling is less long-term and more supportive and informative. Psychoanalytic practice, including its psychotherapeutic dimension, as a rule, is long-term, systematically supervised and results in permanent personality changes. SUPERVISION SUPPORT OF PRACTICE
Supervision is an integral part of psychoanalytic practice. Supervisions are meetings with another experienced colleague who will help analyze a specific clinical case, analytical framework and provide recommendations, share his own view on the possibilities of working with him. SOCIAL PROJECTS
Volunteers from the Division's practitioners organize and participate in social projects to provide quality supervised help to vulnerable population groups on preferential terms. For example, in the 2-month project of helping families during the intensified quarantine in May-June 2021.
VIRTUAL LABORATORIES
Members of the Division independently choose topics for research and unite in research groups with their own time planning for studying a question and a forecast of expected results. To view current topics, visit the page "Research groups".
EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES
The division supports quality educational initiatives of its members in psychoanalytic psychology and psychotherapy. Although the Division does not independently create educational programs and does not conduct educational activities, it nevertheless supports and promotes educational programs that have passed the established examination of the NPA, and educational institutions of various forms of ownership that have exemplary psychoanalytic programs. PUBLISHING COMPANY
The Division supports the publication, collection and distribution of quality psychoanalytic literature. In particular, he compiles electronic collections of reports based on the results of conferences, and also compiles a catalog of the works of Ukrainian psychoanalysts.
